The Platform Porting Service is a professional service to design, develop, test and validate any Birdstep embedded database product ( RDM Embedded or RDM Server ) to operate on a non-standard platform.
The pre-sale activity for services is often hampered by the lack of pricing information at the account manager's fingertips. Typically, when a services opportunity is presented or discovered, the account executive needs to delay the sales discussion in order to query Professional Services. This delay can lead to lost sales. This offer provides account managers with the ability to provide a rough cost estimate for a custom port of any Birdstep Database Product.
