Juniper embeds Raima’s Database Solution within their Juniper Intrusion and Protection (IDP) software application which ensures an efficient, secure and predictable IP infrastructure. The Raima database is used to store attack objects, signatures and security policies to add in the prevention of potential network intrusions. Juniper also embeds Raima’s RDM Embedded database solution within their Juniper Networds Steel-Belted Radius (SBR) software application which is a core component of enterprise and service provider networks providing centralized user authentication and access policy management. The Raima database is used as a cache of configuration data and as a solution for storing and managing access information.
Hewlett-Packard (3COM)
HP embeds Raima’s database solution within their NBX switch acquired from 3COM. The database is used to manage configuration data within this telephony application targeted at small to medium size businesses.
Fujitsu
Fujitsu embeds Raima’s Database Solution within their Flashwave 9500 switch product which is a reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) providing three next-generation configurations for flexible network topologies. The Raima database is used to manage configuration data and implement fault-tolerance across blades.
ECI Telecom
ECI embeds combined solutions from Raima leveraging RDM Database solutions within their XDM – MultiService Provisioning Platform solution. The database is used to store metro, access and cellular network information.
Cisco Systems
Cisco uses Raima’s RDM Embedded database solution within certain versions of Cisco Unified MeetingPlace & MeetingPlace Express web & call conferencing software. The Raima database is used during the build process to verify build integrity. Cisco also embeds Raima’s RDM Embedded database solution within their Cisco Network Registrar product which is a full-featured DNS/DHCP system that provides scalable naming and addressing services for enterprise and service provider networks. Raima’s database is used to store naming and address information.
Alcatel-Lucent
Alcatel-Lucent embeds Raima’s Database solution within LambdaXtreme “long haul” optical switch to manage optical switch configuration data. The Raima database is also used as part of a HA solution. Alcatel-Lucent also embeds Raima’s RDM Embedded database solution within their WaveStar OLS “short haul” optical switch to manage optical switch configuration data.
ADVA Optical Networking
ADVA uses RDM Embedded database solution within their FSP 150 F3 product family which are Ethernet access products. The database is used to manage configuration data that describes the attributes of users.
