Steinar Sande brings over 25 years of experience in hardware and software sales for industry leading companies such as IBM, Sun and Computer Associates. Steinar joined the company in 2000 as Vice President of Sales where he was responsible for the worldwide sales of the Raima database products. Starting January 1, 2005 Steinar took over as Raima’s Chief Executive Officer. Steinar holds a BA in Business and Economics from the BI Norwegian School of Management.

Wayne Warren, together with Randy Merilatt, left Boeing in 1982 to start the organization that became Raima. In 1984, Raima released its first commercial product, db_VISTA, which is the predecessor of today’s RDM Embedded. In the 90’s, Wayne designed and implemented the client/server product now known as RDM Server. In recent years, Wayne has lead the effort to modernize the RDM Embedded product so that it runs well in multi-core and networked configurations. Wayne earned a MS in Computer Science in 1978 from Colorado State University.

Bill Houglum brings nearly 30 years of experience in leading teams in the development and testing of commercial software. Bill joined Raima in 1996 and was promoted to V.P. of Engineering and Services in 2007. Bill has lead multiple development projects including the re-architecting of both RDM Server and RDM Embedded. An expert in embedded database technology and embedded systems Bill has authored several articles and blogs. Bill holds a BS of Information Technology and Databases from the University of Phoenix.

David Nguyen joined Raima in 2005. Since then, he has helped foster a QA team responsible for the creation and maintenance of an automated testing QA framework and a complete daily build system. He is currently responsible for all of the testing development across every platform and product line in addition to ensuring the customer experience is the best it can be for the user. David holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Washington.

Scott Meder brings over 23 years of sales experience to Raima. Scott joined Raima in 1994 as a Sales Manager where he directed his own regional territory and helped develop a successful inside sales team. Scott built a broader sales organization focused on long term relationships with customers. Scott is now responsible for Raima’s worldwide sales organization and has an in-depth understanding of the different business challenges customers face on a daily basis within the data management market space.
