Birdstep Database Selected by Beckman Coulter

Seattle/Oslo/Sweden/Cambridge (March 2007) Birdstep Technology (OSE: BIRD) today announced that Beckman Coulter, Inc. will use Birdstep's RDM Embedded Database to manage medical instrument information.

Beckman Coulter will use the RDM Embedded Database in the company's next generation chemistry analyzers, the UniCel® DxC 600 and DxC 800 Synchron® Clinical systems. The Birdstep embedded database will help manage instrument information from order entry through results reporting.
