Birdstep Technology Adds µC/OS-II Support to Raima Database Manager Product Family
SEATTLE - September 25, 2008 - Birdstep Technology (OSE: BIRD) today announced that it has entered into a cross-marketing agreement with rapidly growing embedded system components developer Micrium. As part of the agreement, Birdstep Technology has added µC/OS-II with µC/FS as the newest platform supported by the Raima Database Manager (RDM) family of products.

The combined offering of a RDM Embedded and µC/OS-II RTOS adds a vast amount of value to customers who are either looking to move an application from an existing home-grown operating system or running a home-grown data management on the µC/OS-II RTOS. Embedded applications are getting increasingly complex and a need for comprehensive data management solutions and high-quality RTOS components are needed in order to help customers get their products to market faster and increase their products overall quality and performance.
