Alpine Electronics Research of America Selects Birdstep's RDM Mobile Database
SEATTLE, WA - November 27, 2008 -- Birdstep Technology (OSE: BIRD), which offers state of the art embedded database technologies, today announced that Alpine Electronics Research of America has selected RDM Mobile for prototyping of their next generation in-car navigation product.
Alpine Electronics Research of America prototyping effort will use RDM Mobile to manage navigation system content. "When managing the growing number of POIs, and then delivering this information to the consumer in the quickest and most accurate way possible, it is important to use efficient indexing methods that accommodate the highest degree of flexibility.
